So another thing I noticed today that I could do on Samsung but doesn't seem possible on the pixel is adjust my ringtone and notification volume separately
This is what I did the first month I got the pixel. Kept comparing the things the s7e did that the pixel doesn't. I do miss certain things of the s7e but in my day to day usage the pixel is just a solid phone all around.

It is a solid phone and I don't think I would go back to my S7 Edge but that was one thing I noticed today that I was a little bummed about but I'll survive.

Did you keep your s7e or traded it in?
I actually traded it in so I couldn't go back if I wanted to. I actually just sent it out today. I turned it on for the first time since I got the pixel to do the factory reset and I found it crazy how that phone seemed to feel stuttery as I was using it after only having the pixel for 2 days

Yeah it is pretty wild. That's why I'm sticking with the pixel. I am going to use the iPhone motto "it just works"

It does just work. So I was playing around with the camera and notice you can turn hdr+ on or off or even put it in auto. I'm not sure what the best way to go is.

I'm loving the Supcase UB Clear case I got for the phone.

Omg I love it! I was going to ask you what kind of case you have. Kinda wild BC I just emailed them last week asking them to make this case for the regular pixel since I don't have the XL. For whatever reason they only make it for the XL
Yeah they only make the pro for the pixel and the UB Clear for the xl.

I'm so glad I went with the xl over the regular pixel

I actually had the XL and sold it for the regular size. The one thing I loved about the s7e and still do is the form factor. Samsung managed to make the same size screen as the iPhone 7 plus and cut down the overall size of the phone tremendously. I can comfortably use the s7e one handed and found myself very uncomfortable with the XL. It is much bulkier than the s7 edge. The pixel size for me is perfect actually and the battery is still better than my edge was.

See I find the xl not much different than the s7 edge. But I do have bigger hands

I looked up the two for comparison

S7 Edge

Body, Dimensions, 150.9 x 72.6 x 7.7 mm (5.94 x 2.86 x 0.30 in). Weight, 157 g (5.54 oz).

Pixel XL

Body, Dimensions, 154.7 x 75.7 x 8.5 mm (6.09 x 2.98 x 0.33 in). Weight168 g (5.93 oz).

It's definitely beefier and heavier. I've always had larger phones and it's nice to have the smaller size and not lose any specs or features. Same camera, not the same display but you can't even tell to the naked eye...Maybe side by side. I find the display very impressive for 1080p.

I'm sure there isn't much difference in the screens but I just like the larger phones.

hmm maybe I will give it a try. speaking of battery life are there any tweaks you can share that I should be making to get the most out of the battery? I already use the adaptive brightness and have my screen timeout after 30 seconds. I am not saying my battery life is bad. I just always like to get the most I can out of it.
