Wifi Connection icon

I have noticed two shortcoming with this Pixel. Fitst the Wifi connection, while _much_ better than my ATT/Note3, behaves differently.
Secondly the touch screen doesn't react to my fingers accurately. I can spell somewhat but I try for one letter and get the a adjacent one.
Is there adjustments I can try for these two?

you can always use a third party keyboard like Swype and see if it's more accurate. The wifi I'm not sure I understand what is doing. Perhaps a little more detail? Maybe just rebooting the phone will iron it out since it is new. Sometimes a factory restore will reset things even if it's new and fix some issues.

It will behave differently .. Every phone calculates signal "bars" differently. This is what you're seeing with your WiFi icon now.
