Notifications flickering.

I'm on my second Pixel XL and it looks like I may be on my way to a third.

The part of the notification area on the home screen to the left of the WiFi signal strength is flickering rapidly left and right and some icons are overlapping each other. You can see the blurriness in the photo.

Has anyone else encountered this? This is a refurbished phone that I've had for less than a week.

No doubt, all that Facebook crap.

Seriously, though, my guess is that it is constantly trying to refresh the notifications as there are too many to fit the allotted area. Can you confirm that the flickering stops once you get rid of the excess notifications?

looks like an excessive notification issue. no amount of returns will fix that unless a software update.
try clearing out notifications
