    Hi all,

after the Android O update, there is an option in developer settings to choose the Bluetooth Audio Codec and there are multiple options including SBC, AAC. aptX, aptX HD and LDAC.

The problem is, when I choose anything and go back to the menu it always seems stuck on SBC. Is this an issue? Are the other codecs not supported on the Pixel XL and this is why I can't choose them? Why do I even have the options to choose them if they're not supported?

    Can anyone clear this up?

No, but I'm just trying to choose the method in developer settings, can't I select aptx unless I pair with a compatible device first?
