On my previous Android phone (Motorola's Droid Mini), when I grouped apps to create a folder on my home screen, the graphic showed the first app in the folder with the others stacked behind it.

On my Pixel, the folder icons show tiny images of the first 4 apps such that, when I glance at my screen, they all look the same.

I've named each folder, but I'm a visually-oriented person. I like to *see* what's what.

Is there any way to change the appearance of the folder icons? If not natively, then any 3rd party apps?

Other than changing to an entirely different launcher, I don't think there is anything you can do about it.
