Did everybody go off and upgrade to the Pixel 2? Or did Oreo just settle in ok for all?

I'm wondering the same. I actually hate how quiet it is here. I pre-ordered the Pixel 2 but chose to cancel my order, glad that I did. It makes me appreciate the original ones more.

Sometimes, quiet means that are devices are just doing what we need them to do - with no drama.

I'm happy with Android 8.0 and I'm happy with my Google Pixel so there just isn't much to write about. I'm sure when the Pixel 2 hits the street we'll get the usual suspects telling us of the eight consecutive defective Pixel 2s they've gotten the first week and the horrible flaws in the camera. As time passes they'll stop and it will be quiet again.

Agree with all. Love my XL, Oreo is working well, and everything is good. No reason to go anywhere for now. Now let's bring on the Pixel 3 rumors! 😉

I noticed this also. I think there is even more activity on the N6P forum than here.

I'm thinking that the Pixel 2 XL screen burn in debacle will drive more of us to keep the Pixel XL. The Pixel XL and N6P were the best devices I've had since the original N5. Only moved from the N6P because I was afraid of the bootloop issue and I found a great deal on the Pixel on Swappa.

I had one N6P that developed the bootloop. Got a new replacement, but decided to cut bait while the N6P still retained some resale value.
