Unable to side load the OTA. Keeps crashing on verifying the file. Guess I'm stuck waiting on the real OTA. Anyone gotten it yet?

The OTA doesn't require a unlocked bootloader. The OTA download has been taken down until it's fixed.

My device appeared to boot loop before finally starting up Android and lo, it reverted to the build I was already running, OPR3.170623.008

My download and install went fine. Had to uninstall and reinstall Facebook of all things. That was it. Loving the new DARK transparent background on the app drawer and the new smaller Date/Weather widget on the home screen. The Google bar is now at the bottom as well. Everything else working as expected.

I was having the same problem that you guys were having and found this method that works.

1.) Uneroll in Android Beta Program
2.) Re-enroll in Android Program
3.) Wait for OTA 8.1.0 to pop up. (Or if you are like me just go to settings, click on update) DO NOT press restart and update once it is done downloading.
4.) Do a full factory reset (The OTA 8.1.0 will install while your phone is resetting)
5.) Done.
