google pixel stuck in boot mode, wont recover, what do?

my stepmom got me google pixel for xmas, but we never see each other so she just gave it to me this june. its been just fine, nothing has happened to except it maybe got a bit hot becuse it august and i dont have air conditioning , but yesterday it was glitching out, saying some app had crashed so i restarted it and woulnt go past the google icon, it just eternally booting, i finally got to the screen with the android and the menu but every time i hit recovery mode it just goes the no command screen, and then i go back to the menu and it says something about action denied on the bottom

Here's a tutorial on using adb.

This
is the site with the firmware for all Google phones - download the latest one for the Pixel ("Sailfish") - 9.0.

Open the ,bat file, go to the last "fastboot" line and delete the "-w" part.

Run the file, and it should flash Pie to the phone.

(You may have to bring up the Developer menu in Settings and unlock the bootloader. And you may want to run the Deuces script instead of the batch file. [I run the Pixel 2 version just about every month.])
