Is there a January UPDATE?

I thought I had seen a report somewhere of a January update for the Pixel Watch. True? Anybody have it? If so what does it correct (and break!)?

I will ask in this thread since I want to LIKE a reply but I see vague outlines but not the correct icons. Suddenly, the thread box appears like the following. I don't know what happened, This is in Chrome. Okay, I can't seem to successfully upload a jpg.

That link shows the same results. This is really odd. I just looked at my profile settings and nothing jumps out at me.

I killed Chrome and actually restarted Win10. No change. For instance, to edit this reply, I picked the rightmost rectangle next to the Thread Number #6. But it gives no indication that it is the Edit option. It is a hollow very pale rectangle.

What if you access the forums in Incognito Mode (and still login there)? Maybe some Chrome extension is causing wonkiness?

I also updated Chrome and it did not fix the issue. I also did try in Firefox - same display hiccups.

OKAY!!!

I just was downstairs and said to self "try the laptop!" The icons are showing down here. so something amiss on the main desktop. But still does not upload jpg. I select it and hit upload but no jpg!!!

Okay. Not sure what's what or why. But I UNinstalled Chrome and reinstalled it. Seems to be working. but still having trouble uploading jpg from the simple reply window. I had to go to Advanced and manage attachments and add one that way.

But you can see the faint rectangles and no real icons that I was facing.

But in any event, I did manage to get the Pixel Watch update by repeatedly pressing "no current update" or whatever! Too bad you cannot do that for the Pixel Phone where I'm still waiting for the Jan update for my 6Pro

For the last few days I couldn't access the forums on my Android tablet on either Chrome or Brave Browser... and nothing was updated tablet or browser wise. I tried all the usual fixes, but finally had to do a search for Android Central, then log into the forums and re-save the link. It's working fine now on both browsers, and everything else worked perfectly the whole time on the browsers. The saved bookmarks to forum posts still don't work though, just like the forum bookmark quit working.

Changes to the website maybe?

My Pixel Watch updated automatically a couple nights ago, and I can confirm that 3rd party watchfaces no longer cause the display to timeout with AOD on.
