Unlock Verizon Pixel XL bootloader

I was wondering if anyone tried dePixel8 to unlock there bootloader. If so, how easy was it to use.

If your device comes with 7.1.1, you can't use this tool as Google has patched it. If not, then you have to prevent auto-update from taking your phone to 7.1.1.

You indicated that you may want to unlock bootloader in the future. Don't forget that you'll lose all user data when you unlock. That's why most people do it when they first get the phone.
