Why am I getting an invalid Download URL Error Message in the PlayStore?

"invalid Download URL" Error Message on PlayStore

I am using the Samsung S4. Whenever I try to download some apps I get the message "invalid download URL". Some apps will download and install but others wont. I cannot see a link between ones that will and wont download, it just seems to be random. I have tried clearing cache, restarting phone etc and last night I did a full factory reset but the problem still persists.

Welcome to Android Central! That error message is appearing when you're using the Google Play Store app? You're not using the Play Store website on the browser, are you?
