Play store- won't open, any suggestions?

Play store- won't open

I have changed to a Huawei P8 Lite today and in the store they could not access the Play Store. They thought it would resolve when I connected to a wifi. At home and connected to my internet, still get a blank screen when I try to open the Play Store. Can anyone make a suggestion please?

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Apps>All, select Google Play Store, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now try again.


If that doesn't work, try going to Settings>Accounts-Google, select your Google account, and remove it completely from the phone. Then add it back again, and see if that helps.
