The play store loads forever online

When I try to install an app from the play web store it just loads, no error messages. I can add the app to my wish list and then install it from my wish list on my phone.

Some things I've tried:
I've reloaded the tab multiple times
I've tried different apps
I've tried opening Google play store on my phone and then trying to install the app from the web store

The things I use:
I use a OnePlus 5t running android 8.1 (Though I can't even choose what phone I want to install the app on)
I use Firefox 60.0 for Ubuntu

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, I'm not quite clear on this -- are you using the Play Store app or the Play Store website? Make sure you're using the app.

If you're encountering problems with the app, then try going to Settings>Apps, select Google Play Store, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Do the same for Download Manager -- you probably have to tap Menu>Show System to see it. Now try again.
