When I take photo's, I delete ones that I don't like, but then I find that they automatically appear in G+ as well, and I am unable to delete them, even though they have already been deleted from my Samsung android photo gallery! How can I prevent this from happening?

Download the Google Photos app, or go to photos.google.com and delete them there.

If you do not want these photos loaded disable synchronization.

This seems like the sort of thing that should be easy, but for the life of me I can't figure this out. I had a lot (10+ gigs) of photos backed up in the old G+/Photos app. Now I have "unlimited" storage with the new Photos but can't figure out how to delete the old ones to reclaim that space in Google Drive (I only have the free plan!). Anyone know how to do this?
