Re: Top Five Things You Are Looking Forward to Doing with Your Ne

When is Verizon going to grow up and supply what its customers want and need. So many of us travel outside the US and need communications. Their exchange program is nice but the equipment offered is so old.

I use the D2G and all I do before leaving the country is make sure my international is activated and off I go.

Oh well, I guess the wait continues. I won't change services as Verizon has the best service for my daily needs as well.

You have options... just not an LTE phone right now. Its not their fault. Future SOC's will support just about every radio combination at once. Current ones just don't do it right now.

The way I understand the Moto Razr, the VZW version will not be Global, but they will be distributing the phone in Europe, and that will be a multi band GSM/CDMA phone.

In no particular order (well, maybe)...

Buying it (buying a house so money is tight...maybe they still have that $100 for your old phone deal?)
Rooting it
Using Wireless Tether for my laptop at work
Patiently waiting for 4G to get to my neck of the woods
Enjoying 4G goodness

Hmm. List in no particular order:

  • Configure face unlock: From what I've seen on the net, it's super fast and I don't see it as gimicky.
  • Configure exchange mail and calandar settings: These are absolutely the most important functions my phones need to have
  • Load my my music AND 720 videos, I have a huge multimedia library, and it's all ready for the Nexus.
  • Add apps from the marketplace: Facebook, twitter, wikipedia are essential.
  • Start researching developing my own apps. I have plenty of ideas for apps.
