My Nexus just took it's first shot and lived to talk about it

So a cup of vodka got spilled all over my beautiful Nexus. In the ensuing panic it was then knocked off the table onto the marble floor. No case, no screen protector. Battery and Battery cover went flying.

Just as a precaution I put it in a bowl of rice overnight. Today its working flawlessly. Huzzah!

INTERESTING. I had the same thing happen after Best Buy tried applying the Zagg shield. However, the wet/submerged notification sticker thing was not affected, so I was able to get a replacement.
