    Hello,

is there an app to change the lock screen setup automatically depending on current location ?

My idea is to have the simple "Wipe lock" when I am at home
and a complex "password or pin lock" when I am out of my private environment.

So at home the phone is fast and easy to unlock by wipe
and in public environment it is secured by a complex pin number.

The setting should be changed depending on teh found WIFI network.
So at a list of private network ids of me, my family or my friends (let's say 5 defined WIFI ids)
it is set to the comfortable wipe unlock
and at any other (public or unknown) WIFI id or at no id at all it should be set to the complex pin unlock.

This would give much comfortable usage at home and higher security abroad.

Is there such an app existing
or would it be a good idea to request it for future Android updates ?
(not only newer version, but also patchs for existing versions, since the Galaxy Nexus will stay at 4.3)

    Regards
    Uwe

    Welcome to the forums.
There is an app called Tasker. It is a paid app, and I think it can do what you want it to.
