So I just noticed that the Movies app by Flixster was updated yesterday. Here is the changelog:

    What's in this version:
Fixed intermittent crash bug relate to dialogs
Added support for Google TV 2.0
Added support for UltraViolet Digital Copy movie streaming (For more info, visit Flixster)

So it seems to have support now for google tv 2.0, whatever that means and support for ultraviolet streaming. I hope this means that Google TV update is on it's way. Also, I am noting that they aren't calling it a Honeycomb update or Ice Cream sandwich update, but rather Google TV 2.0. I wonder if this is an intentional naming convention meaning that Google TV 2.0 won't look like honeycomb or ICS.

Note the TV version of Android is different than other Android (it seems it is the Android OS with a UI on top). So calling the existing version Google TV 1.0 and the new version is Google TV 2.0 is the best way to describe it.
