Would there be any reason not to buy a Revue? I know that Logitech just called it quits, but I was thinking I might be able to get myself a cheap one as a Christmas present. Do you guys think that there will be update support in the future, either official or unofficial?

Update is coming, I believe should be within two weeks (crossing fingers). I am happy with it, and with my Samsung Smart TV there is nothing I cannot do.
And for $ 100.00, you cannot go wrong.

Shut, I just saw another post at the Logitech Tweeter account that they update is coming soon. I want a specific date!!!!!!!!!!

For $99 you can't go wrong. Just don't have unrealistic expectations.

What do you think about anything that comes after the 2.0 update? Has anyone used it with AT&T U-verse? Will it be outdated with the devices that are supposedly coming out at CES?

I am replying to this post on my Revue now. I love it. Nexflix is great and runs much better then what is built into my TV. With all the features, it is well worth the $99.

Logitech is not just dumping the Revue. They will not make more, but will continue support for it. I can see minor bug fixes in the future, but no major updates after Google TV 2.0

I can see someone hacking a Google TV 3.0 (or whatever the next major update will be ) onto the Revue though.

It is cheaper and more useful then a Roku or Boxee in my opinion

The Revue was always a stop-gap solution, all of the new announcements are likely to be GTV incorporated directly in the TV itself (Vizio should have some out by then). I'm happy with my Revue purchase as-is, the update making its way to us is just gravy. If you don't want to buy a new TV I think the Revue is still a good choice.

I recently purchased a Revue and am quite happy with it.

If you want the Revue to control your other "boxes" I would be skeptical that it will be maintained in a way to do that.

However, all I really wanted was a Web Browser for my HDTV, and the Revue does that pretty darn well.

I just picked a Revue up last weekend and love every minute of it. The websites might be a little choppy when scrolling up and down and sometimes it seems the apps like cnet tv or anime tv for example seem "blah", like they didn't put enough time into creating them.

It has some awesome features though, especially the picture n picture when browsing the web and watching tv. I love being able to watch my football game and browse the web. (Im rocking a 65 inch panasonic plasma with boston acoustics surround sound with a denon receiver)

My favorite feature is the search. If you're looking for Seinfield, you type that in and BAM pops up a list of choices whether it's on tv or when it will be on, clips from you tube, info on seinfield etc. It's pretty awesome.

I also like when you're watching a show or a youtube clip and decide to browse through the menu options; that a light blue over lay goes over the tv show or clip and you can still hear it in the background and see it. It's a pretty cool effect (just eye candy)

Worth the 100.00? No question. It's probably one of the best risks you can take. It can't HURT your t.v. viewing and if you hate it, sell it and make almost all your money back or just return it. I won't ever return mine and I don't even care if the update comes or not. It works just fine.

Roku has a version for 49 but the best version is 99 (same price as Revue). Boxee is more, around 199. Revue is worth 99 bucks to me, but others would do better with a Roku. The web browser is the killer app.

I have been looking into picking up one of these revues and you all offer some compelling arguments. I currently just plug my laptop into the TV for any web browsing on the big screen.

I didn't know revue was so cheap! I will have to stop by best buy soon and check it out again.
