Sony google tv guide setup?

I just got my Sony google tv... Internet connection was quick and easy. But, setting up the Rovi guide not working. I'm connected to cable and to TV directly with coax, no cable box. The Video Input is set to built-in tuner, channels to cable, did the auto program, and have Program Information set to TV guide.

When I click the remote guide button, it says "your guide could not update..."

Anyone have an idea how to make this work?

Google TV does not have it's own on-screen guide (not to my knowledge anyway). It utilizes the guide of whatever source of Cable/Satellite you have. So if you're using standard cable (which generally does not have a guide) you will not be able to use the guide function unless you have a STB.
