Google User Research designs and runs studies to gather product feedback from people around the world. Their mission is to help Google’s engineers continue to develop the best possible products for our customers.
When you join their community of research participants (supported by our forum here!), they will provide you with a questionnaire to fill out over time. Your answers will help their team match you to studies that are a great fit, so the more detail you provide, the better. If you’re asked to join a study, they might have you try out a new product or tell them what you think about existing products (pretty cool!). Studies can take place at a Google office, or online.
Every time you participate in a study, you’ll get a thank-you gift like a gift card or a donation to charity. You’ll also have our eternal gratitude for helping shape the future of our products.
So - hopefully that's a good overview - any questions feel free to ask them here in this thread, or in this forum!
