I just noticed it only has 1 port to connect the cable from modem to this. What about other wired connection cables that I currently have connected to router? IT doesn't seem to replace a full router switch?

No it isn't meant for tons of devices. You can hook a switch up to the route and plug the other wired ones into that and it should work but by itself it only has 2 Ethernet ports (1 for Internet / 1 for a device).

Pretty much. It's made more for people who use mostly wireless devices. I would just grab a switch so you can continue to have everything hooked up.
