hey guys, i dont know to google this so maybe you can help me out. i have a galaxy s3 and for a few months now i have been suffering with serious battery drain. just today i was typing a message on whatsapp and i lost 4% in that time. i then left my phone for 1 hour and it had dropped a further 30%. i had 60% left now, so my screen started flickering and i pulled my battery out, and left it for 1 minute when i turned the phone back on it had 2% left and then went straight to 0% and turned off so i plugged in my charger and the battery icon went up to half way and when i turned the phone on straight after connecting the charger it said i had 70% left... now is it my battery or my software thats giving false info... my phone is fully rooted if that makes a difference and im still using the stock firmware. i charged to 100% in 10 minutes i just lost 20%. according to the stats my screen is using 65%

Welcome to Android Central! The most likely problem is a failing battery, so I would try a new or different battery. If you don't want to buy a new one, see if you can borrow one from a friend.
