why my battery is not getting charged instead of plugging in and switching it on?

my handset micromax BOLT D320 is not getting charged instead of plugging in the charger.This is happening from today'smorning only.

Turn the handset off. Plug the charger in. If it's still not getting charged it's either bad charger, a bad cord from the charger to the handset, a bad connection on the charging port, a bad component in the phone or a bad battery.
