QI Wireless charger wont work.

Hey all,

I recently got my dad a Belkin QI Wireless Charging Pad for fathers day. When he opened it and plugged it in, there was no response from the pad. The little light didn't turn on, and when we tried to charge our phones, there was no response. The instruction manual just has pictures with no explanations or FAQs, and no one online seems to be having this issue. We tried changing the USB chord, taking the cases off our phones, but to no avail. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 active, and my father has a Blackberry Priv. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Welcome to Android Central! The S5 Active isn't wireless charging capable right out of the box--you'd have to convert it using a kit (if available): http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s5/399497-s5-active-wireless-charging.html. Have you done so?

Also, it seems that not all Privs are wireless charging capable. Which exact model does your father have? https://help.blackberry.com/en/priv/5.1/help/stk1440613591886.html
