Why has my Samsung Galaxy stopped charging on my Samsung Wireless Charging Pad?

I have a samsung galaxy and samsung wirelss charging pad.

when i plug phone into the cord it charges, when i put the phone on the pad it wont. when i plug the plug into the pad it does light up but wont charge the phone. What gives?
I've had the pad for a bout 2 months and always worked fine and suddeny stopped

Welcome to Android Central! Which Samsung phone do you have? Did it come with wireless charging, or did you have to use a kit to make it compatible? Is the charging pad an OEM Samsung pad, or is it from a 3rd party manufacturer?

If it can be used before, pls check whether the cable here is broken, Use another cable to have atry.
You could also use another phone with the wirelss charging function here to have a check .

Maybe you can change several positions for your phone to try it. It may not connect well.
