    Didn't do anything on Saturday. Well, took the kids out for donuts and let the wife sleep in. Not exactly MNFM material though, right? (Scored me some good daddy/husband points though.)

    Made it out this morning, though. But the damn pain in the right leg returned, and I cut the route short. Pretty sure it's the shoes I was wearing, so that'll be it for them. The good news is that I ran farther than I have in a long time. Nothing to brag about, but every little bit counts, and I like to think it made up for going less than 3 miles.

    Now to try not to overdo it with Super Bowl food.

    Yep, shoes can make a big difference. I recommend going to a specialty shop where they have a good selection of running shoes and have a good return policy.

    Way to go! Keep up the exercise. Discipline often isn't much fun at the time, but the long term rewards are well worth it.
