    I have a few friends who’ve used MyFitnessPal to gain weight. You just have to set your current weight, goal weight and time to achieve it (plus a relative activity level) and the app gives you a target calorie range for each day. You have to be diligent about accuracy in tracking, but if you are, it absolutely works. I’ve lost nearly 40 pounds and the app has been critical in helping me reach my goals!

    I use a notepad to track my lifts. I use the MyFitnessPal app to track my macros/calories.
