GPS high accuracy keeps turning off

Has anyone else noticed that after you set gps to high accuracy, after a while it will go back down to battery saving mode. I assume that emui does this to save power but is there a way to prevent it? The gps on the 7x is already fairly weak so this just makes it worse.

Never had issues here with it changing on it's own. It's been on high accuracy since day 1. Make sure you dont have any power saving modes turned on by accident. You could try wiping your cache in recovery (power off the device. hold volume+ and power until the Honor logo appears, let go and should boot into recovery. Tap wipe cache partition. Reboot).

Just performed the cache partition wipe, so far the phone feels a little snappier than before...will have to see if the location services still have the issue after using for some time.
