Love the pricing of the phone. Pretty competitive among the $400 phones from OnePlus, ZTE, Alcatel, and others. And a worthy option compared to other flagships (Samsung, LG, etc.)

But if you need Verizon (or Sprint.. lol), then your choices are limited.

Yup, CDMA carriers have limited phone choices. Good thing my main carrier/line is on AT&T and have the huge variety of phones to choose from :D Just wanted something nice for my secondary phone that is on RingPlus.

It was nice seeing moto release a device that was cheaper and works on all carriers. Hopefully once CDMA is gone these cheaper really great options will be available for everyone.

If I get one, it'll be to test drive AT&T. Tried T-Mobile with the Honor 5X and coverage issues means T-Mobile is a no-no for me.

Hopefully Honor 8's competitive pricing pressures other companies into not overpricing their phones, such as Apple, Samsung, Sony, and recently, ASUS.
