Although I'm still waiting on UPS. It's killing me lol. I'll post some pics of it with the red case I'm going to put on once I install the screen protector too. So now I just keep waiting on UPS which is taking forever.

Okay my new 64g pearl white honor just arrived. It's stunning. I'm getting it set up now and will post some pics. I have a question for everyone. My other honor 32g was on EMUI 5.1 and this one is on 5.0. How do I get it to update to 5.1? I've checked for updates. Does not everyone have 5.1 yet or do I need to call Huawei? Any help is much appreciated.
When did you get it? I called Huawei and they told not all phones have received it yet. Does anyone here know that to be true and you are still on 5.0 like I am?
They also told me that now since my IMEI is in use that my update should come in the next week. I sure hope so. I don't want to have to deal with update trouble from my new phone.
Okay here are a couple of pics. Pics don't do the Pearl justice as in person it looks awesome. Plus it's different than my typical black phone I buy. I've also got a protective cover on the back so that may dull the picture of it down. It's a nice looking color and looks good with Red. I'm definitely ordering the dbrand Red Carbon fiber back skin for it.
You can use the firmware finder app to update... But that's a pain. Still, it is an option if you need it now
Unfortunately pictures are a bit blurry. Hard to tell the actual quality. What did you use to take those pics?
Yeah the lighting was bad. I'll take better pictures and post them. My axon 7 mini camera is better than what those pics showed. It's got a 16 megapixel camera and typically takes clear shots. It may have been the lighting and me doing it in a hurry. I'll post another couple of shots
Do you mind sending me the manual link for the 5.1 firmware? I am not sure where to locate the official one. There are so many bad links I want to make sure I am using the correct and official one. I don't mind manually doing it as I'd like to be up to date. Any help I'd appreciate. Thanks
Here's some better pics of the Pearl color. Like I said I installed a back film protector on it that came with my new screen protector which gives amazing grip as I don't even have a case on it right now but it also tones down the gimmer of the Pearl color too.
As far as I know the latest update has been 5.0.1. I didn't think any had made it to 5.1 yet. What's the build number?
Let me take a screen shot. I'm also downloading the latest build off that list. I assume I'm downloading the correct thing. It didn't say the number other than build number. Can you post the build number that I need to look for to make sure I'm downloading the correct one?
I still can't find that build number. Is there anywhere else I can find it and download it? I'm lost on that. That firmware finder doesn't have that exact build number although I'm downloading something similar to it though it's not that exactly. Do you know where I can find that exact build number to download?
