Update: it says I have the most current version (5.0.1); so nothing yet! But I'll keep checking!

I had a feeling things might go this way. When EMUI 8 came I said that older phones might see a "EMUI 7" update instead of getting the full bump to Oreo. It might will be EMUI 5, but I wasn't too far off. Nice to see the Honor 8 getting support awhile longer
