As for the US? Huawei isn't planning to bring the Honor 9 over just yet. "Later this year, you can expect to hear more about new devices that will be available in the U.S," the company said in a statement

Hopefully by end of Summer. It'll be tough when we hit the fall and the next Pixel and iPhone and Note are out there tempting people.

Different price range though... It shouldn't be a big deal against those though the op5 and the like could be competition

I'm guessing about the same time the Honor 8 came out last year. Hopefully a little earlier so they don't get lost in the sea of all the other phones that come out around that time.

OnePlus 5, Moto Z2 Play, maybe even Moto G5S would make it a tough choice.

The smaller screen size of the honor 9 could be enough to tempt some who want a smaller screened phone.

But you are right, there is a lot of competition

OP5 should be like $550 and maybe honor 9 $500? I am leaning more towards OP5 with snapdragon 835 and 8gb ram unless honor 9 surprise me with something special!

I thought rumors have the OnePlus 5 at $450ish, honor 9 $350-400?

Of course no official USA pricing so... Hard to tell since direct price conversions aren't always an accurate indicator of pricing

Oneplus is slowly bumping their price every year and honor 8 was retail $499 last year so hopefully, honor 9 is below that.

I am hoping it's minus . $550 isn't far from a s8 when on sale. Of course a higher priced OnePlus is good news for Honor.
