Media reaction to 10 comparing to M9 or M8

To me the media reaction to HTC 10 seems to be very positive... someone suggested that the media reaction to M8 and M9 were pretty much the same as 10, and based on that, suggested that 10 will sell pretty much the same as M8 or M9.

I only began to follow HTC product since the launch of HTC 10 and I think HTC 10 is a great device. I have no idea how M8 and M9 were received.

So do you guys think HTC 10 is received with the same amount of enthusiasm from media as before? Or it's up a notch? Or it's overwhelmingly more positive than before?

The media HATED the M9 right from the start....

Great! So even though we can't draw conclusion that this phone will save HTC or not, at least it's going to perform differently from M9 in the market. Right?

I don't think 1 phone can save HTC. I do think this phone is good enough to keep them going till next year. 2 or 3 strong releases in a row that rival Samsung and Apple is what It will take to actually save them. I know next year I will waite and at least see what HTC brings to the table before I upgrade again to see if they can build upon this year's success.
