If you look at the screen (when turned off) under bright light, you can see lines running vertically across the entirety of the screen. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

Yes I just saw this yesterday under direct sunlight with the screen off. It looked weird but has no ill effect on the screen.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one lol. You're right, I haven't noticed that it causes any issues when the screen is actually on. Just never seen something like that before with the screen off lol.

I think it's the digitizer grid. It used to be way easier to see on phones even just a year or so ago.

Yes, I see it too. Someone else asked about it in another thread and I think the answer had to do with the screen polarization.

It's normal, it was the same on the M8
