Is there a way for the phone to natively block unknown or private calls. None of my HTC phones ever could. I know Samsung has the option. I've downloaded like 4 apps claiming to be able to but all failed. Does anyone know if there's a way that the phone can block these calls, or an app that actually works? Thanks.

I have an app called Hiya. Formerly known as Whitepages caller id. There are settings to block unknown numbers.

Call Blocker by NQ mobile is the best in my opinion.

I second this app. Works great. It sends calls to VM, which can be annoying when they build up and you need to delete them all. I think there's something in the newer OS that won't allow a pick-up/hang-up, which would be better in my opinion
