MMS pictures on 10

Hey guys, I love the camera on the 10 and I'm getting better at using it. But when I send pictures to friends in Messenger they are very low res. What scales them down? Is it Messenger or the phone?

Any suggestions on other messaging apps if that is the issue?

How low? Mine sends a very usable photo for viewing within the app. ( I'm using Google's Messenger. ).

Basically any amount of zoom is incredibly pixelated

Are you shooting in the 4:3 12MP resolution? I could see some pixelation in lower res pics, but at 12MP using the stock messaging app, my photos are clear, even with zoom.

I've been using Google Messenger. Maybe I'll switch to the stock HTC app and see if it is different.
