The "hearing aid feature" is the fact that the earpiece in the phone has an electromagnetic field around it. If your hearing aid has a telephone loop, it'll pick the phone up. Or, if your hearing aid uses Bluetooth, you'll have to make it discoverable (look in the manual, or ask at your audiologist's office) and pair it in the Bluetooth section of the phone.

If your aid has neither ($6,000 for my two, and no phone feature - I'd like to strangle Widex), you have a choice - put the phone up to your ear and miss the highs, or put the phone up to the aid's mic and miss the lows. If your hearing is bad enough, there are actually TDD apps for Android. You text the TDD operator, she tells the person you're calling what you said, they give her their answer and she types it back to you.
