I have tried going into Settings and 'Language & Keyboard' to get my keyboard back, but even there, I cannot reset it back. This is what my options look like:

    Language
    English (United States)

    Keyboard & Input Methods
    Google Voice Typing
    Automatic

    Speech
    Voice Search
    Text-to-Speech output

I would rather not do a hard reset back to Factory Settings, but if there's no other way...

    Please help!

How did you delete your keyboard? Are you rooted? I don't think a factory reset would get it back. That just deletes all apps you downloaded. I don't think the system apps you delete come back.

If I were you, I would just download and use Google Keyboard. I think it's better than the HTC keyboard. If you don't like that, I think your only option is to download the ROM for your phone from ROM Downloads for your HTC smartphone - Support | HTC United States, which will totally wipe and reset everything.

You can try to get the keyboard app from someone and pushing it to /system, but I think that would just cause errors. I deleted mine, but I can get it back for you if you like and post it up.
