How To Remove Cover (To Access Battery)

Definitely do not want to damage this new phone but could someone tell me how to remove the cover so that I can access the battery in case I have to remove it? Not sure my SIM is securely on the side at times--but when I called Metro for help they ask that I remove the battery and was afraid of snapping the back cover. Would appreciate any insight, tonight some of my texts were not received after sending them out. Little problems are adding up. Thanks!
