First, have you tried connecting to any other WIFI networks? I doubt it's the phone.
Here's what you can try:
First. Go into your wifi settings, and FORGET your network.
Power down the phone completely.
Once off, unplug your router and modem, if it's a combo unit unplug it. ( Make sure the lights are all off, could have a battery backup ) Wait a few seconds.
And then if you have a separate modem and router, plug just the modem in first, waiting for the ONLINE or CABLE light to go solid. Once solid, plug the router back in, wait about 10 seconds.
Now turn on your phone. Open up your Wifi Settings and try to connect to your wifi again.
If you are still getting the authentication issue, you really need to try and connect to another wifi network.
Is it possible your router lost power for a long period of time, possible resetting it to default settings.
Which would change your password as well?
