Desire S AT&T Bands?

Noticed that the Desire S is being released in the UK later in the month. Also noticed it appears to be being released with AT&T bands, is this accurate?

It has AT&T GSM frequencies, not 3G. Almost all GSM phone have those for bands, so they'll work anywhere for voice/EDGE.
