Data Usage on Desire - Telstra

I've had my phone for about 3 weeks. I get 200Mb with Telstra as part of my plan.

It has been chewing through the data. I notice that if I absolutely don't use any internet functions it uses about 3Mb per day, which seems a lot for synching.

What are other people's experiences? Does someone know of a good app that can tell me what I'm using?

Good apps are Callmeter NG (but no WiFI data) and Stats. I use them both. Both have their good and bad things. Best way is to control your usage at the (personal) internetsite of your provider (i don't know if Telstra has such a feature). The apps though can give you good insight in daily usage.
