new user needs help - white screen

hey folks new user and stuck in a mess

heres my problem got a htc desire a8181 and its got the dreaded white wall of death now im trying to fix it myself but i need the drivers for android 1.0 but cant find them anywhere can someone please please help

im really not sure its just when i link phone with computer it comes up with no drivers found for android 1.0 sorry not that sure
