Broken screen and need to transfer data

I have an HTC, and my son has dropped it around quite a few times, finally yesterday the whole entire screen was damaged, all that appears are these lines (the ones you get when the LCD is damaged). Most of the data i have backed up, but there are couple of numbers that i do require of that phone. And photos as well. How do i work around the broken screen to get my data? Ps- im not good with software, so i may require extra help. Thanks xx

Connect your phone to your pc and find the photo , drag and drop the photo to your desktop...
