Just received, and installed, OTA update (Android 2.1) for HTC Droid Eris. Woohoo, we can now run bluetooth apps!

But... I think RFCOMM might be busted on the HTC in the Android 2.1 update.

My app (VoyagerConnect) connects but is unable to read data from the RFCOMM bluetooth connection. Works great on my Moto Droid.

Anybody else having problems connecting to Bluetooth RFCOMM devices?

I am having the same issues with an OBDII program. Seems that the bluetooth driver is messed up. Can anyone else confirm this? What can we do to have HTC/Verizon work on this bug?

Since the system update I was having major lag problems, as well as phantom calls (no ring, no vibrate), phantom calendar reminders and text messages, and no ability to pair with my handsfree rig in my car.

At my local Verizon store, they did a factory reset on the phone, which definitely introduces a few headaches of its own, but no more phantom calls, no more lag -- the lingering issue is I cannot pair with my bluetooth stereo in my car. And no one seems to have a clue.
