Initiate call via Bluetooth Headset

I am having issues initiating calls from my Jawbone Bluetooth headset through my HTC Eris. I can initiate calls from the device itself, I can also receive calls, but when I try to initiate a call by pressing the voice command option from the headset nothing happens. Does anyone know of a way to do this? Maybe an app that will allow this? Or if the upcoming software update will fix this?

Voice commands with a Bluetooth headset do not work. I haven't seen this listed as a planned update.
