Taking the show on the road...

Sorry if this is answered elsewhere but I am curious about what kind of experience I am going to have taking my Eris to Brazil in late January.

Assuming I can find a bunch of wireless networks to connect to, is there a way to make phone calls? does google voice work without cell coverage but WITH wireless internet?

skype?

Any other international goodies I should be aware of?
