it is good to see the Eris forums are hopping more then other

I am a new droid Eris owner and it is good to see there are a lot of people (just like me) loving there Eris. I, as most as other poeple are waiting for this new update. But Honestly I am enjoying the 1.5 because I am still finding new stuff about this phone. I can only imagine what the new 2.1 will be like.

gratz on your new Eris. its a great phone and even better with 2.1. don't expect a totally new phone with the upgrade but def improved performance.

Does it at lease improve the battery. THat is the only thing I really do not like about it. Yes, granted it is constantly pulling information about every hour...

Now since Moto got they'res I would guess we are getting ours I would say some time with in the next month. (fingers crossed)

its supposed to improve the battery life as well as improve memory management.
