Alrighty, everyone. You all know I love ya, and when I don't get myself to bed in time, I start doing nerdy things, like making new splash images for this phone we know and love.

Obviously, you're going to have to have your phone all S-OFF'd and stuff (thank AlphaRev and Unrevoked for that if you haven't already!), but then you just plop one of these flashable zips on the root of your SD card, boot into fastboot, and take the update.

You'll need to rename the files (take off the "-Lloyddark/light") so it's just PG86IMG.zip when you flash, but half of ya probably already knew that, anyway. As for the images, they're pretty bare bones. If you think we should have some text (I was thinking in white) in the upper-third of the screen, lemme know and I'll see what I can do.

Got some new screens for you, and all of these have been personally tested by me and work! That means they SHOULD all have the required android-info.txt file in the zip file. :)

Remember, follow these simple steps!
  1. Rename file to just PG86IMG.zip
  2. Put PG86IMG.zip on the root of your SD card
  3. (Power phone off if it isn't already), THEN, hold Vol Down+Power until you reach fastboot
  4. Press Vol Up for "Heck yes, flash that splash!"
  5. Reboot
  6. Profit!

It should see the update. Make sure it is at the root of your sd card. And you have to change the file name.
It went without a hitch on mine. Took a total of about 1 minute.

I placed it at the root (no subfolders) and I changed the filename.

You should be flashing this through the bootloader, not recovery.
Press the power button while bootloader is highlighted in blue, it will scan for updated, then prompt you to update.

I did this through the bootloader, its saved to the root of my card and its renamed correctly.

you forgot the text file attached in the zips

Thats why its not picking up the splash1.img in the bootloader

Hrm. That's strange. These are the same .zips I flashed on my own phone and I think someone else reported success, but if that fixes the problem, awesome!

Will this work on the sensation

Not sure. Will the Sensation need a different android-info.txt file?
